Check whether your records qualify
Four questions about the company. See whether its records may fit our referral rule.
Your company may fit our referral rule for closed companies
We refer companies with 30 or more full-time employees in the markets this checker covers, and your answers fit that rule. This result is preliminary and is not an offer. The buyer reviews the company and its records and decides whether to make an offer. If the company is still closing, say so when you apply. Have the person with authority to sign for the company now lead the application, and ask counsel who that is.
Your records answer does not change this result. Before you apply, list the records you hold: what each covers, its dates, who keeps it and how long it must be kept.
The next page is the buyer's own application, under its terms and privacy notice. We do not share your answers to this check with the buyer.
The buyer pays us a referral fee only after a company we refer has its data transferred and approved. How we make money
Below our current size limit for referrals
We refer companies with 30 or more full-time employees, and your answer is below that. This checker does not assess your records' value or identify a buyer for a smaller company. Keep following your retention plan; a licensing opportunity is not guaranteed.
Your market is outside what this checker covers
We refer companies with 30 or more full-time employees in the markets this checker covers, and the market you chose is not one of them. That limit belongs to our checker and says nothing about whether a buyer would consider the company. This checker does not assess your records' value or identify a buyer for your market.
